Poligrāfijas grupa Mūkusala employees improve their professional knowledge!


Latvian Printers Association  on January 4, 2011 concluded the Contract No. L-APA-10-0028 with State Agency “Latvian Investment and Development Agency” regarding implementation of the project “Qualification improvement of the labour force in the Latvian printing and packing industry” (Project No. APA/1/3/1/1/1/10/02/015).

On November 6, 13 and 15, 2012 within the project there was implemented the training course “Measurements of work resource efficiency in the polygraphy industry”.

The main topics of the training:

  • Productivity of work resources
  • The main parameters of efficiency in the polygraphy industry

Objective of the training is to increase the comprehension of the employees on the importance of individual investment and personal motivation in the increase of work productivity and efficiency in order to reach the strategic objectives of the company.

 

On 28th, 29th August and 20th September, 2012 within the frameworks of the project the training course of the standard OSHAS 18001:2007 was implemented.

The aim of OHSAS 18001:2007 – use of audit for supervision of the polygraphy and work process in enterprise.

Main topics of the training:

  • OHSAS 18001:2007 standard and necessity
  • Method of auditing process
  • Realization of the practical audit
  • Aspects which should be considered to ensure compliance of the standards
  • Adaptation of the standards
  • Duties of employees responsible for consideration of the standards

Within this project since 10 April 2012 we are continuing to implement the foreign language training course. The employees are studying German and English that will help in communication with foreign clients and will allow to implement the company objective – to increase the export volumes.  

Within the project from 7 to 10 March 2012  the company has implemented the planned trainings of the technical service mechanics and electricians regarding maintenance of the printing line Komori 38S in good technical condition. The staff of the technical service will train how to perform the preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and adjustment of equipment junctions efficiently. The training is provided by the high-qualified tutors from the Great Britain.

Training objective – to provide the efficient activity of the printing line Komori 38S.

Within the project from 8 to 11 November 2011  the planned training of the offset printer is implemented within the company.

The training is provided by the high-qualified tutor from the Great Britain.

Training objective is to provide the training to the staff servicing the printing line Komori 38S regarding the efficient usage of the printing line and the principles of the Colour management theory. The training is provided for the four day programme. Within the courses the employees obtain both the theory and its usage in the practice.

The obtained knowledge allows to increase the work efficiency as well as to maintain the stable product quality.
