ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, FSC  and Nordic Ecolabel

In March 2010 Poligrāfijas grupa Mūkusala got ISO 9001:2009 and ISO 14001:2005  certificates. These certificates confirm implementation of the united quality and environment control system in the enterprise, which is under continuous development.

Our aim is to promote customer satisfaction and environment protection. Therewith we looked towards getting these certificates in order to become distinctive and increase quality of services rendered. The integral quality control system was developed, which is in accordance with standards and our vision, mission and values.

We have improved our production, sales, and logistic procedures, developed quality and environment policies oriented to improvement of current processes and efficiency.

We believe, that ISO  standards introduction will promote future movement of the enterprise - towards to the desired goal.

In March, 2011 we have successfully completed FSC  timber chain certification audit. FSC  certificate in an international conscious forestry certificate, which ensures environmentally friendly, socially considerate and profitable forest management.

Poligrāfijas grupa Mūkusala introduced FSC  certification in order to provide our clients with trustworthy guarantee, namely, that product comes from well managed forest, FSC chain of custody, recycled materials or mixture of the sources above.

We offer to use FSC certified paper for printing of printed media, as well as advertisement materials.

On January 2012 the certificate Nordic Ecolabel was received. The certificate approves that we are an environment friendly company and it refers to the used paper, chemicals and the energy resources.

We are the first printing house in Latvia, which has received this certificate! Our aim is to be an environmentally friendly company.

So we believe that this step will help us successfully develop and open new opportunities in the Scandinavian market!

The main value of the company is our employees. During the entire existence of the company multiple operations were performed and different means were invested to improve the work conditions and work security by assessing the work environment, determining the possible risks and damages, and implementing activities for their prevention.

On March 2013 our work resulted in obtaining OHSAS 18001 (ISO 45001:2018) certificate which approves that the company has implemented work safety and occupational health system.

Acquisition of the certificate is only the beginning for consequent maintenance and improvement of the further work safety and occupational health system.
