History
1993
The beginning of Poligrāfijas grupa Mūkusala. JSC Diena established a structural unit Diena-Repro as one of the first prepress studios in the Baltic States. In a short while Diena-Repro became the leading company in its field.
1996
Ceremonial opening of the tipogrāfija Mūkusala and we started to print newspapers.
1998
Goss Community – a press for printing newspapers was installed.
2000
Both production units (tipogrāfija Mūkusala and Diena-Repro) are situated in the same building and have one name – Poligrāfijas grupa Mūkusala, Mūkusalas street 15a, Riga.
2003
A new printing machine Solna D 400 for newspapers was installed.
2006
New machines - KOMORI 38S (printing press) and Bravo Plus MÜLLER MARTINI(a finishing line) were installed.
2008
Installed two inserting lines: ProLiner (for newspaper inserting) and Onyx Rubin (for magazine inserting), as well as Merchandise Tipper (gluing of advertising inserts) and Compact (rotary disc knife).
2009
Established a successful cooperation with new export customers as a result export volume tripled.
2010
The certificates ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 were received thus witnessing the company has created a unified quality management and environment system.
2011
The certificate FSC® was received. This is in an international conscious forestry certificate, which ensures environmentally friendly, socially considerate and profitable forest management.
2012
The certificate Nordic Ecolabel was received. In January 2012 we obtained the certificate Nordic Swan or Nordic Ecolabe, which approves that we are environment friendly company and it refers to both the used paper, chemicals and the energy resources.
2013
We obtained OHSAS 18001 certificate, that approves implementation of the work safety and occupational health system.
2013
We set up the soft-cover book gluing machine Alegro 6.
2015
We doubled production capacity in the magazine printing service. New equipment - KOMORI 38S (web offset press for magazine printing), Primera MÜLLER MARTINI (saddle stitcher) and DOMINO Bitjet+ (digital printing system for in-line printing of addresses and personalization) were installed.
2021
ClimateCalc Certificate obtained for CO2 impact monitoring and documentation to compensate for CO2 emissions.
2022
A new newspaper printing machine TESNSOR T1400 has been installed.
Implementation of the CtP project, within which two LUXEL NEWS 80CtP devices were replaced with one new thermal CtP device.
2023
The company celebrates its 30 years of existence - THE POWER OF UNITY!
