The planned result of the project is a reduction in energy consumption of 1065.25 MWh/ year, including a reduction in carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions of at least 214.72 tons of CO₂/ year.
Technically the task was completed at the end of 2019, concluded by CFLA in March 2020.
This is the fifth (last) full monitoring year out of five (2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025).
Energy savings in relation to the measures taken (actually measured): 1317.61 MWh/ year, CO2 reduction – 300.58 t. Accordingly, the energy efficiency indicator envisaged and calculated in the project has been formally achieved by 123%, i.e. the actual indicators are 23% better than initially planned/calculated. The better energy efficiency indicators (lower energy consumption) can be explained by the decline in the number of units produced, which is ~20% lower than the volume of units produced at the time of preparing the project application. It can therefore be concluded that, with similar volumes, the savings would be close to those originally planned in the project. (The absolute largest savings are achieved by using the KOMORI drying equipment).
Reduction in energy consumption (MWh):
Reduction in carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions:
Energy efficiency of the building (ventilation, cooling, and LED) – planned 198 MWh/ year, actual savings calculated at 134.65 MWh/ year based on data from 2025 (savings calculated at 246.88 MWh/ year based on data from 2024);
KOMORI dryer modernization – planned savings 463.03 MWh/ year, actual savings according to 2025 data – 1017.52 MWh/ year, i.e. actual savings more than twice as high (in 2024, savings amounted to 1036.70 MWh/ year);
Thermal press – planned savings of 12.6 MWh/ year, actual savings in 2025 reached 29.81 MWh/ year (in 2024 – savings were 33.53 MWh/year);
Compressors (3 old ones replaced with 2 more powerful ones) – planned savings of 379.4 MWh/ year are not achieved. According to 2016 data, the total consumption of the 3 compressors was 533 MWh/ year, while in 2025 the consumption of the 2 new compressors was 397.41 MWh/ year, so it can be concluded that electricity consumption has decreased by 135.63 MWh/ year.
